TINUBU, FIRST LADY OLUREMI TO PAY STATE VISIT TO UK ON KING CHARLES’ INVITATION

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, will pay a state visit to the United Kingdom from Wednesday, March 18 to Thursday, March 19, 2026.

The planned visit follows an official invitation extended by His Majesty King Charles III, which President Tinubu has formally accepted.

The announcement was made on Sunday via the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the British Royal Family, confirming that preparations are underway for the visit.

According to the statement, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host President Tinubu and the First Lady at Windsor Castle during the two-day state visit.

The visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, as well as deepen bilateral cooperation across key areas of mutual interest.
