The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has conducted an inspection of the Rivers State office of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), highlighting the party’s readiness for upcoming internal elections.

In a statement released by Mr. Emmanuel Bright Onyebuchi, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State ADC Chairman, officials from INEC visited the ultra-modern party facility at No. 118 Woji Road, GRA, Port Harcourt, where they were formally received by Chief Amb. Leader Sampson, the ADC Rivers State Chairman.

During the inspection, Chief Sampson expressed appreciation to the INEC team for their visit and support, while formally notifying the commission of the party’s forthcoming Ward, Local Government Area, State, and National Congresses scheduled for next month.

“Our party remains fully committed to due process and genuine internal democracy,” Chief Sampson affirmed.

The INEC officials lauded the party’s new secretariat, describing it as well-organized and in excellent condition. They commended Chief Sampson for his effective, results-oriented leadership and assured the ADC of the Commission’s readiness to collaborate at all levels, in line with its constitutional mandate.

The visit underscores renewed activities within the ADC and signals a strengthened push to consolidate the party’s structures ahead of future elections.
