Osun Polls: Voting Materials Arrive Early at Ward 10, Unit 13 in Egbedore
Voting materials have arrived early at Ward 10, Polling Unit 13 in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State as voters prepare to cast their ballots in Saturday’s governorship election.
The early arrival of the materials is expected to allow election officials to set up the polling unit and complete necessary preparations ahead of accreditation and voting.
Officials are expected to arrange the sensitive materials and voting equipment before the commencement of the exercise, while voters wait for the process to begin.
The development comes as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) moves election personnel and materials across the state for the governorship poll. Channels Television reported that election officers had taken delivery of materials and were mobilising to polling units across Osun.
The election is being closely watched as voters across Osun choose their next governor, with 15 political parties participating in the contest. INEC has also assured voters that results from polling units will be uploaded to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).
At Ward 10, Unit 13 in Egbedore, attention is now focused on the smooth commencement of accreditation and voting as voters await the arrival of the electoral process.
