CHELSEA WINS CLUB WORLD CUP WITH 3-0 VICTORY OVER PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN
Chelsea emerged victorious in the Club World Cup final, defeating Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Cole Palmer was the star of the show, scoring two goals and providing an assist for Joao Pedro in a scintillating first-half masterclass.

The Blues struck first in the 22nd minute when PSG fullback Nuno Mendes gifted possession to Malo Gusto. Gusto’s initial effort was blocked, but he collected the rebound and found Palmer unmarked in the middle. Palmer made no mistake, slotting a tidy finish just inside the left post.

Palmer doubled the lead after the 30th-minute cooling break with a goal of sublime quality. He latched onto a precise through ball from Levi Colwill, cut inside, faked a pass to dummy a defender, and fired into the bottom-left corner.
Palmer then turned provider, running up the channel before finding Joao Pedro. The Brazilian striker took the ball in his stride, beat the offside trap, and chipped his finish beautifully over keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG’s misery was completed when Joao Neves was sent off for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair in the 83rd minute. The 10-man PSG side failed to mount a comeback, and Chelsea held on for a convincing 3-0 win.
This victory marks Chelsea’s second Club World Cup title, cementing their status as a top force in European football. The win is a testament to Enzo Maresca’s tactical setup and the team’s impressive performance. Cole Palmer’s two goals and assist earned him the man-of-the-match award, showcasing his exceptional skill and composure on the field.
