CLERIC TUNDE BAKARE URGES TINUBU TO FOSTER NORTH-SOUTH COLLABORATION

Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church (CGCC), Pastor Tunde Bakare, has called for stronger collaboration between the North and South to steer Nigeria in the right direction. The cleric made the call after a private meeting with President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence.

According to Bakare, the meeting was forward-looking and rooted in his vision of a united Nigeria that works, where citizens look out for one another and progress is not left to chance. Despite previously accusing President Tinubu of “playing God” amid concerns over the executive’s grip on the legislature, Bakare described the meeting as productive.

“I left the meeting with the conviction that we can work together to move Nigeria forward,” Bakare said. While declining to disclose specific details, he stated that his recommendations to the President were offered in good faith and left to his discretion.

The meeting has sparked hope that the cleric’s call for collaboration will yield positive results for the country. Bakare’s vision for Nigeria emphasizes the importance of unity and collective progress, and his meeting with the President suggests a willingness to work together to achieve this goal.
