The recognition ceremony, organised by the Nigeria Customs Technical Hangar Service, drew senior officers, management staff, and colleagues who gathered to celebrate what has been described as a groundbreaking accomplishment within the Service.

The agency hailed Balogun’s feat as a historic milestone, noting that she has become the first female pilot in the Nigeria Customs Service a field traditionally dominated by men.
