Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has warmly congratulated Prince Nduka Obaigbena, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of THISDAY Newspapers and ARISE News, on his 66th birthday. The Governor praised Obaigbena’s visionary leadership and commitment to journalistic excellence, noting that he has redefined the media landscape in Nigeria.

Oborevwori described Obaigbena as a global media luminary who has brought prestige and global relevance to the profession. He commended Obaigbena’s contributions to the evolution of media ownership and free press in Nigeria, particularly during his tenure as President of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

The Governor prayed for Obaigbena’s continued good health and wished him many more years of impactful service to the nation and humanity. “You have built formidable institutions, fostered influential networks across social and political spheres, and become a symbol of audacity and innovation in media entrepreneurship,” Oborevwori said.
