Imo State representative, Isinwa Chidozie Senator, has emerged Mr Universe Nigeria 2026 and Mr Cosmo Nigeria, earning the right to represent the country at an international pageant in Vietnam next year.

Senator clinched the two titles at the grand finale of the competition held on Saturday at Skyview, The Lekki Coliseum, Lagos, emerging ahead of contestants representing states across Nigeria.

The decisive announcement triggered applause from the audience after the organisers declared the Imo representative the winner of both national titles.

The victory has secured Senator’s place at the Mister Cosmo International pageant in Vietnam in January 2027, where he will represent Nigeria against contestants from other countries.

The new Mr Universe Nigeria is also set to receive a prize package valued at more than N7 million, comprising a brand-new car, cash awards and other gifts.

Senator, a fashion model and sports enthusiast, is an alumnus of Imo State University, where he previously held the title of Mr Imo State University.

His latest victory marks a significant turnaround in his pageantry career. He had previously emerged as first runner-up at an earlier edition of Misters of Nigeria before returning to compete for the national crown.

Mr Lagos finished as first runner-up, while Mr Edo emerged second runner-up.
