KEMI BADENOCH UNVEILS RADICAL BORDERS PLAN TARGETING DEPORTATION OF 150,000 ILLEGAL MIGRANTS ANNUALLY

UK Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch has launched a stringent immigration overhaul dubbed the “Radical Borders Plan,” aiming to deport 150,000 illegal migrants every year, describing it as Britain’s “toughest reforms in history”. Badenoch announced the ambitious plan in a video message on her X account, emphasizing a hardline stance on illegal migration.

“If you’re here illegally, you will be detained and deported,” Badenoch declared, underscoring the plan’s severity. The Radical Borders Plan introduces a new Removals Force, modelled after the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), tasked with dramatically expanding deportations.

Key components of the plan include deporting all illegal arrivals within seven days, removing legal barriers to mass deportations, and imposing visa sanctions on countries refusing to repatriate their citizens. Badenoch also pledged to “shut down the asylum hotel racket,” aiming to save billions in taxpayer funds and restore public trust in Britain’s borders.

“We will find, detain, and remove those who have no right to be here,” Badenoch stated, criticizing previous governments for weak enforcement. Her proposal includes banning asylum claims from illegal entrants, repealing the Human Rights Act, and withdrawing the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

The Removals Force will reportedly utilize facial recognition technology without prior warning to identify undocumented migrants and will replace the existing Home Office Immigration Enforcement unit. Badenoch accused Labour of presiding over record small boat crossings and mismanaging asylum policies, saying, “It’s pure weakness. Britain needs a serious, credible plan and the backbone to deliver it”.

Critics question the plan’s feasibility and legality, with the Labour Party dismissing it as “headline politics without substance,” highlighting infrastructure and diplomatic challenges. Legal experts warn withdrawing from the ECHR could have far-reaching implications for citizens’ rights.

Badenoch’s Radical Borders Plan aims for 750,000 deportations over five years, positioning herself as a hardliner committed to reshaping UK immigration policy.
