NGF Celebrates Tinubu at 74, Commends Leadership and Reforms

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum has extended warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 74th birthday, praising his leadership and commitment to national development.

In a statement issued on March 29, 2026, and signed by the Forum’s Director of Media and Strategic Communications, Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, the governors described the President as a leader who continues to inspire the nation through values of love, peace and compassion.

Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said the milestone offers an opportunity to celebrate Tinubu’s vision, resolve and dedication to the service of Nigeria and its people.

According to him, the President’s leadership has been defined by a strong commitment to economic reforms, improved security and the overall welfare of citizens.

The Forum also commended Tinubu for fostering collaboration with state governments, noting that his support for federalism and intergovernmental cooperation has strengthened governance across the country.

It reaffirmed its commitment to working with the President to safeguard the welfare and security of Nigerians, while upholding democratic values, including the freedom of citizens to choose their leaders without interference.

The governors further described the President’s 74th birthday as a celebration of a legacy marked by dedication, resilience and impact, wishing him good health, renewed energy and wisdom to lead the nation to greater heights.

They expressed hope that the years ahead would bring continued peace, prosperity and progress for Nigeria under his leadership.
