Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to visit Jos, the capital of Plateau State, on Saturday, October 4, where he will attend funeral prayers honoring Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe, mother of the APC National Chairman, Professor Nantewe Yilwatda Goshwe. In a statement, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the President’s scheduled trip.

Bayo Onanuga announced that President Tinubu will depart Lagos on Saturday for Jos, Plateau State, to pay his respects at the funeral prayers. “The President will later address Church Leaders across the North at the headquarters of the COCIN Church in Jos,” Onanuga stated, highlighting the President’s engagements during the visit.

Following his address to church leaders, President Tinubu is expected to return to Lagos on the same day, concluding his trip to Plateau State. Bayo Onanuga indicated the President’s itinerary reflects his commitment to participating in significant events honouring notable personalities. “President Tinubu will return to Lagos on the same day after the visit,” Onanuga noted, outlining the schedule.

The visit underscores President Tinubu’s engagements with various constituencies and his participation in solemn occasions such as the funeral prayers for Nana Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe.
