President Tinubu Praises Longtime Aide Tunde Rahman on 60th Birthday
President Bola Tinubu has lauded Mr. Tunde Rahman, his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Special Duties, for his decades-long dedication, loyalty, and exemplary service to the presidency.
The commendation came as Rahman celebrated his 60th birthday, with President Tinubu highlighting his steadfast commitment, strong leadership, and tireless work ethic.
Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, issued the statement on behalf of the Statehouse.
Rahman, who previously served as Adviser on Media, played a pivotal role in political liaison and media strategy, particularly during the lead-up to the last presidential election.
“I especially celebrate Tunde Rahman for his outstanding qualities on the celebration of his 60th birthday. He is a dedicated, humble, and extraordinarily loyal personal aide who serves with utmost dedication,” President Tinubu said.
The President also recognized Rahman’s professional background as a journalist and newspaper editor, noting his contributions to promoting public good, social justice, and progressive governance through journalism.
“I appreciate his contributions to our progressive ideals and promotion of good governance in our country. Tunde is a steadfast and reliable personal aide whose advice and suggestions are sincere and free of any hidden agenda,” he added.
President Tinubu prayed for Rahman’s continued health, wisdom, and ability to serve the nation and humanity.
