Documents exclusively obtained indicate that billionaire lawmaker Senator Ned Nwoko is insisting his estranged wife, Regina Daniels, must return to a rehabilitation centre, citing a toxicology report that showed she tested positive for multiple substances at health-toxic levels. According to the report, the test conducted by an expert showed positive results for marijuana, cocaine, morphine, ipiates, and alcohol.

The lawmaker stated, “Regina needs help and must go back to the Rehab centre which she started two months ago for medical attention.” He attributed their ongoing marital crisis directly to her battle with drug and alcohol addiction. This comes after Regina publicly accused Nwoko of assault and domestic abuse, claiming in a viral video, “Ned sent thugs to attack me, I’m nothing in Ned’s house, but in my house, I’m a queen. I can’t stand the violence anymore; it’s too much.”

Nwoko has firmly denied these allegations. In a statement, he wrote, “I have other wives, and none will ever accuse me of violence. Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting three staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property, including cars and windows, for no just cause.” He explained that he has set a clear condition for her to undergo rehabilitation, either at a facility in Asokoro, Abuja, or abroad in Jordan, “where she will not have access to drugs.”

Further details emerged from a WhatsApp chat where Nwoko confronted Regina about her lifestyle, writing, “I don’t know who is giving you drugs amongst them and this lifestyle is totally unacceptable and we can’t continue like this.” He expressed grave concerns, stating, “My health is deteriorating because of your situation. I am worried about your life and what will happen with the kids.” Nwoko concluded that he would not fund her lifestyle until she is fully rehabilitated, lamenting that all his efforts to help have been rebuffed by his wife and her family members.
