Tinubu Returns to Abuja After UK Trip, Eid Celebration in Lagos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after observing the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Lagos, following his recent state visit to the United Kingdom.

He was received on arrival in Abuja by top government officials, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and governors from his party.

The President had arrived in Nigeria from the United Kingdom in the early hours of Friday and joined Muslim faithful for Eid-el-Fitr prayers at Dodan Barracks in Lagos.

During his stay in Lagos, he hosted more than twenty state governors and held meetings with a delegation from the European Union, the leadership of the National Assembly, and members of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council.

He also received briefings from Vice President Kashim Shettima on his recent visit to Borno State following a suicide bombing incident in the area.
