British-Nigerian businessman and social media influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a cosmetic genital enlargement procedure in Thailand.

Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism, a potentially life-threatening condition caused by a blood clot blocking blood vessels in the lungs, according to findings from an inquest at the Inner West London Coroners’ Court.

The coroner, Jean Harkin, reportedly confirmed that the pulmonary embolism was caused by complications associated with the cosmetic procedure.

Ubiribo underwent the procedure during a trip to Thailand in March while travelling with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

According to evidence presented at the inquest, 40 millilitres of a combination of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine were injected into his penis as part of the enhancement procedure.

The procedure is intended to increase penile length or girth, but medical experts warn that such interventions can carry risks, including infection, inflammation, loss of sensation and erectile dysfunction.

The Cleveland Clinic also lists scarring that could alter the shape of the penis as another possible complication.

Ubiribo had built a following online by documenting aspects of his luxury lifestyle and business activities. His death has now drawn attention to the potential dangers associated with elective cosmetic procedures.

A pulmonary embolism can occur when a blood clot, often originating in a deep vein, travels to the lungs and blocks blood flow. Severe cases can be fatal if not treated promptly.

The circumstances surrounding Ubiribo’s death were examined during the London inquest, with the coroner linking the fatal complication to the cosmetic surgery he underwent in Thailand.
