Two kidnap suspects were set ablaze by a mob in Mosogar Community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.

The incident occurred on Thursday evening.

Sources said the ordeal of the two suspects began when four men were accused of attempting to kidnap a lady, after she had raised an alarm, attracting curious people within the vicinity.

The four men on noticing that the evil design had been exposed fled the scene, while residents chased after them and succeeded in apprehending two of the suspects, while the other two escaped.

The suspects were subsequently, hacked to death before being set ablaze by the mob.

The development was confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, who gave no further details.
