NIGER STATE GOVERNOR ADJUSTS CURFEW TIME IN MINNA

The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has reviewed the curfew time in Minna metropolis, adjusting it from its previous time to 8 o’clock in the night to 6 o’clock in the morning, effective immediately.
Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, in a statement, said the adjustment was attributed to a security update received from the State security committee. Bologi Ibrahim quoted the Governor as saying that his administration will continue to engage the security committee on the outcome of the curfew for further adjustment where necessary.

Bologi Ibrahim further noted that Governor Bago encouraged the people to continue to be law-abiding citizens as his administration is determined to implement policies that will impact positively on them and ensure their wellbeing. Bago’s administration has been working closely with the security committee to ensure the safety of citizens, and Bologi Ibrahim added that the Governor will continue to review and adjust policies as necessary.
