Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez officially signed a prenuptial agreement on August 10, just one day before their private civil wedding ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.

The couple, who have been together since 2016, formalised their marriage on August 11 at their £30 million mansion with only their five children and four witnesses present.

The prenuptial agreement establishes a separation of property regime under Portuguese law, meaning each spouse retains sole ownership of assets owned before marriage as well as any property and income acquired afterwards. Any assets purchased jointly during the marriage may be considered shared property.

The agreement was signed at a notary’s office in Lisbon, with registrar Maria Manuel Ferreira de Campos Folhadela de Oliveira travelling from Porto to officiate the wedding ceremony the following day.

Ronaldo’s net worth is estimated at approximately $1.2 billion, with annual earnings of around $300 million from his Al-Nassr contract and endorsements.

Georgina, who works as a model and runs a fashion business, has an estimated net worth exceeding $10 million.

Additional reports from Portuguese magazine TV Guia claim the agreement includes a lifetime monthly payment of approximately €100,000 for Georgina and grants her ownership of the couple’s Madrid mansion in La Finca, valued at over $5.6 million, should they separate. These specific clauses have not been independently confirmed by the couple.

Neither Ronaldo nor Georgina changed their surnames following the marriage, and both continue to use their birth names.

The marriage certificate lists the couple’s permanent residence as Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr. Ronaldo’s mother and siblings were not present at the intimate ceremony.
