Shettima Commissions Key Projects in Maiduguri, Praises Zulum’s Leadership
Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday commissioned a series of landmark projects at the Government House in Maiduguri, underscoring ongoing efforts to strengthen governance infrastructure in Borno State.

The projects inaugurated include the Presidential Lodge, Government House Clinic, New Governor’s Office Complex, Protocol Office, and the Government House Jumma’at Mosque.

Following the commissioning, Shettima joined Governor Babagana Zulum and other dignitaries for the first Jumma’at prayers held at the newly completed mosque.

The Vice President commended Zulum for what he described as exceptional leadership and a sustained commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the state.

“It is gratifying to witness the level of progress being sustained and expanded in Borno,” Shettima said, noting that the administration’s development strides reflect a clear focus on rebuilding and service delivery.

He particularly highlighted the significance of the Government House Clinic, stating that its modern facilities would significantly improve access to quality healthcare for government staff and their families.

The commissioning forms part of broader efforts by the Borno State Government to enhance institutional capacity and improve welfare within the seat of power.
