BREAKING NEWS: NIGHTCLUB FIRE IN NORTH MACEDONIA KILLS 51, INJURES 100
A devastating fire broke out at a nightclub in the southern town of Kocani, North Macedonia, killing 51 people and injuring around 100 more, according to Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski. The blaze began around 2:35 a.m. during a concert by a local pop group, Toshkovski said. “The young clubgoers used pyrotechnics that caused the roof to catch fire,” he explained. Video footage on social media shows chaotic scenes inside the nightclub. Family members have gathered outside hospitals and Kocani’s city offices, desperately seeking information about their loved ones. Toshkovski confirmed that police have arrested one man in connection with the incident, but declined to provide further details. The investigation is ongoing.
