Popular gospel musician Bolaji Olarenwaju, affectionately known as “Big B,” has passed away after a brief illness. The family announced his death in a statement, expressing their profound sadness at the loss of their beloved father, husband, brother, and esteemed figure in the music industry. “Bolaji’s life was a testament to his passion for music, his unwavering faith, and his dedication to uplifting those around him,” the family said. “His legacy is not only in the melodies he created but in the lives he touched and the unquantifiable joy he spread.” Big B, an ordained Pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), was just 50 years old when he died on Easter Saturday, April 19, 2025. His family described his departure as leaving a void in their hearts that cannot be filled. “We take solace in knowing that his absence with us is his presence with the Lord, and the indelible mark he left on all who had the privilege of knowing him will not be erased,” the family added.
