PRESIDENT TINUBU DECORATES AIDE-DE-CAMP WITH RANK OF COLONEL

President Bola Tinubu has decorated his Aide-de-Camp, Lt. Col. Nurudeen Yusuf, with the rank of Colonel. The decoration ceremony took place on Thursday at the President’s office complex at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. Yusuf has had a distinguished military career, having graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He also attended the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, in the UK, where he was commissioned into the Officers Cadre. Throughout his career, Yusuf has undergone extensive military training, both locally and internationally, including in Mali, Pakistan, China, Israel, and the UK. He holds a Master’s degree in Defence Studies from King’s College, London. Yusuf has served in various capacities, including as an officer in charge of the 119 Intelligence Group, Lagos, and as Operations Officer at HQ 4 Brigade, Benin. He was also promoted to Officer Commanding Presidential Body Guard, State House, Abuja, in 2015. Yusuf’s promotion to the rank of Colonel is a testament to his exceptional service and dedication to the Nigerian military.
