NNPP DISSOLVES ALL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEES IN KANO STATE

The New Nigeria People’s Party has announced the complete dissolution of its party structures across Kano State. The dissolution includes the State Executive Committee, all Local Government Executive Committees, and all Ward Executive Committees. In a statement, the National Publicity Secretary, Bamofin Ladipo Johnson, said the decision was made by the National Working Committee in accordance with the party’s constitution. Johnson stated that caretaker committees to act in the interim will be announced presently. The statement further conveyed the NWC’s gratitude to all former office holders. “The NWC of the party thanked all those who had held one position or the other in the state, local government and ward structures and assured them that the party appreciates all that they have done,” Bamofin Ladipo Johnson said. The party did not immediately specify the reasons for the sweeping dissolution. Johnson confirmed that the caretaker committees would be unveiled soon to manage the party’s affairs at all levels in Kano State.
