GOVERNOR UMO ENO TURNS 61, REQUESTS KINDNESS AND CHARITY ON HIS BIRTHDAY
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, is marking his 61st birthday today, and in a statement, he has made a special request to his friends and associates. Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ekerete Udoh, in a statement, said the Governor appreciates the goodwill, prayers, and warm sentiments that usually attend this occasion. Udoh said Governor Eno has requested that instead of elaborate celebrations and gift items, resources should be channeled to orphanages, the less privileged, hospital visits, and other humanitarian acts. “In place of elaborate celebrations and other expressions of love and goodwill through gift items, the Governor will appreciate if such resources could be channeled to orphanages and the less privileged; visits to hospitals and other humanitarian acts that would significantly bring joy and cheers to the neediest on his birthday,” Udoh said. The Chief Press Secretary has requested that people take pictures and make videos of their visits as mementos to mark the Governor’s birthday and send them for documentation.
