Veteran Nollywood actress, Idowu Philips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow, has revealed why she chose to remain single after her husband’s death. In a recent interview, Mama Rainbow recounted how a man who showed interest in marrying her was deterred by the number of children she was caring for. “A man wanted to marry me when my husband died, but he ran away when he saw 11 kids with me,” she recalled. The suitor had visited her home and met the eleven children eating with her, and was shocked to discover they were all her children. “When I told him they were my children, he left and never came back,” Mama Rainbow said. The actress stated that the experience led her to decide never to get married again, and she has remained single ever since. “Since then, I decided never to get married again, and I have remained single,” she said.
