STANDUP FOR WOMEN SOCIETIES EXTENDS EID-EL-ADHA GREETINGS TO MUSLIM UMMAH
The Standup for Women Societies (SWS) FCT Chapter has extended warm Sallah greetings to all Muslim Ummah in the Federal Capital Territory, its esteemed members, women, and dear friends. In a statement signed by the Secretary, SWS FCT Chapter, Lib Princess Joy Omagha Idam, the organization wished Muslims a blessed Eid-el-Adha celebration. Chairperson of SWS FCT Chapter, Lib Stella Okoh Esene, reflected on the values that Eid-el-Adha embodies, such as sacrifice, compassion, and kindness. “May the blessings of this sacred occasion bring us closer to our goals and aspirations,” she said. Okoh Esene emphasized the importance of upholding core values of unity, compassion, and service to humanity, which are at the heart of the organization. “Let us take a moment to reflect on the values that Eid-el-Adha embodies, such as sacrifice, compassion, and kindness,” Okoh Esene added. “May these values guide us in our daily lives and inspire us to be better versions of ourselves.” Joy Idam noted that the SWS FCT Chapter Chairperson wished Muslims a joyous Eid-el-Adha celebration and prayed for peace, joy, and prosperity. “Eid Mubarak! May Allah accept our sacrifices and grant us peace, joy, and prosperity,” Okoh Esene said. In her concluding remarks, Okoh Esene expressed her hope that the festive season would bring Muslims closer together and strengthen their bonds of friendship and solidarity.
