ABUJA POLICE APPREHEND KOGI-BASED GOSPEL SINGER FOR RITUAL MURDER

The Abuja Police Command has arrested a gospel singer, Oluwatimileyin Ajayi, also known as Timileyin, from Kabba, Kogi State, for allegedly beheading his girlfriend, Eleojo Salome Adaidu, for ritual purposes. Security agents in Orozo area of Abuja became suspicious of Timileyin when they spotted him with a Polythene bag. Upon interrogation, he attempted to flee but was apprehended and the contents of the bag were discovered to be the severed head of his girlfriend. During questioning, Timileyin confessed to the crime, stating that he had been in a relationship with the victim for a year before killing her for ritual purposes. The police have taken custody of the suspect for further investigation and prosecution.
