A socio-political movement supporting President Bola Tinubu has declared its intent to mobilize 10 million votes for his re-election in 2027 through a nationwide grassroots campaign. The PBAT Door-2-Door Movement, founded by Niger Delta leader Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, aims to galvanize support across regions, uniting Nigerians behind Tinubu’s leadership.

The group’s National Coordinator, Sunday Adekanbi, praised Tinubu’s record, citing significant strides in repositioning Nigeria on the global stage. “In just two years, President Tinubu has demonstrated unparalleled vision, courage, and resolve, positioning Nigeria as a global economic powerhouse and a beacon of democratic governance,” Adekanbi said.

Tompolo will spearhead a nationwide tour engaging citizens “ward by ward, street by street, and home by home” to promote Tinubu’s reform agenda, counter misinformation, and highlight the administration’s achievements under the Renewed Hope program. The campaign focuses on Tinubu’s transformative policies, including:

Economic Reforms: Unifying exchange rates, removing fuel subsidies, and reducing debt service-to-revenue ratio have stabilized the naira, boosted investor confidence, and increased government revenue to N6 trillion in Q1 2025.

Energy and Infrastructure: Oil production has risen to 1.61 million barrels per day, with over $8 billion in new investments, and power generation has improved from 4,000MW to 6,000MW.

Education and Youth Empowerment: Over 500,000 students have benefited from interest-free education loans through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), while over 100,000 youths have been trained in digital skills.

Healthcare Transformation: Expanded health insurance covering 20 million Nigerians, revitalized Primary Healthcare Centers, and new cancer treatment centers.
