SENATE DEPUTY PRESIDENT BARAU JIBRIN FELICITATES FIRST LADY OLUREMI TINUBU ON 65TH BIRTHDAY
Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, has extended warm felicitations to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she celebrates her 65th birthday. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Senator Barau commended the First Lady’s contributions to nation-building.
“I join all Nigerians and well-wishers across the globe in congratulating Her Excellency, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on the joyous occasion of her 65th birthday,” Senator Barau said. He described her as “a patriotic Nigerian par excellence” who has strengthened democracy with “immense, sterling, and novel contributions”.

Senator Barau highlighted Oluremi Tinubu’s impact through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), saying it provides “lasting solutions to pressing national challenges”. He recalled her achievements as Lagos State First Lady (1999-2007), touching lives via the New Era Foundation, and her legislative work in the Senate (2011-2023).
“I pray to God to bless Her Excellency with long life, good health, and wisdom as she continues to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the successful delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” Senator Barau added. “Once again, happy birthday, Your Excellency, the Mother of the Nation,” he concluded.
