Bill Gates is set to testify before the United States Congress as part of an expanding investigation into the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to multiple international reports.

The testimony, scheduled for June 10, 2026, will take place before the House Oversight Committee, which is probing Epstein’s network, financial dealings, and the extent of his connections to high-profile individuals.

Gates, the billionaire philanthropist and co-founder of Microsoft, is among several prominent figures called to provide information following the release of previously sealed documents linked to Epstein.

The investigation intensified after the U.S. Justice Department released additional files tied to Epstein’s activities, prompting lawmakers to seek testimony from individuals who had past associations with him.

Gates has acknowledged meeting Epstein multiple times after Epstein’s 2008 conviction but has consistently described the relationship as a “huge mistake” and limited to discussions around philanthropy.

While his name has surfaced in the newly released documents, Gates has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing, and no victim has alleged misconduct against him.

Lawmakers are expected to question Gates on:

The nature and frequency of his interactions with Epstein

Whether he had knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities

Any financial or professional links uncovered in the released files

Committee officials say the testimony is part of a broader effort to establish accountability and transparency surrounding Epstein’s network and influence.

A spokesperson for Gates confirmed he is willing to cooperate fully with investigators, stating he “welcomes the opportunity” to assist the committee’s work.

Gates is not alone in facing congressional scrutiny. Other high-profile figures, including politicians and business leaders, have also been summoned as part of the ongoing review of Epstein-related documents and connections.

The hearings come amid growing public pressure on the U.S. authorities to fully disclose the extent of Epstein’s network and ensure accountability years after his death.
