South-South Governors Hail Oborevwori at 63, Celebrate Leadership and Development Strides
The South-South Governors Forum (SSGF) has congratulated Delta State Governor, , on the occasion of his 63rd birthday, describing him as an outstanding leader whose commitment to good governance continues to transform the state.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Bayelsa State, , said the governors joined the people of Delta State and other well-wishers in celebrating Oborevwori’s life of service and leadership.
The forum praised the Delta governor’s political journey from being the longest-serving Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly to emerging as the state’s chief executive, noting that his rise reflects dedication to democratic ideals and effective leadership.
According to the governors, Oborevwori has continued to make significant impact through the implementation of his M.O.R.E Agenda, which they said has driven progress in infrastructure development, security, social welfare and economic growth across Delta State.
The SSGF noted that the governor’s efforts have contributed to making Delta State more prosperous, peaceful and united, while also strengthening development across the South-South region.
“Your dedication to the peace and progress of your state and our region remains a profound inspiration,” the forum stated.
The governors also prayed for God’s continued guidance, wisdom, good health and strength for Oborevwori as he continues to steer the affairs of Delta State.
The congratulatory message underscores the strong bond among governors in the South-South region and highlights the recognition of Oborevwori’s contributions to governance and regional development.
