AMCON OFFERS SILVERBIRD, OTHER PROPERTIES FOR SALE ACROSS NIGERIA

The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has announced the sale of 10 properties across the country, including locations in Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, Plateau, and Rivers states. The properties are being sold through a competitive bidding process, with a deadline for bid submissions set for July 11.

According to AMCON, the properties are being offered for sale to interested members of the public in line with its objectives and statutory responsibility to efficiently resolve eligible bank assets acquired from various financial institutions in Nigeria.

*Properties Up for Sale:*

– *Warehouse and Office Block, Ibadan*: Located at Km 9, Old Lagos Road, Podo, in the Mogbojubola Layout, Opere Industrial Village, Ibadan, Oyo State. The property spans approximately 12,803 square meters and includes a security block, external toilet facilities, and a generator house.

– *Office Complex, Lagos*: Situated at 3 Sawyer Crescent, near Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos. The building comprises two floors, a generator house, and a gatehouse, and can potentially be converted into a school or business premises subject to necessary approvals.

– *Former Hotel Sumiram and Green Restaurant, Jos*: Located on Secretariat Link Road, Jos, Plateau State. The property includes a six-room main block, a ten-room rear block, a karaoke bar, poolside area, garden, and related structures on a 2,567.74 square meter site.

– *Silverbird Entertainment Centre Mall, Abuja*: A five-story commercial development with a gross lettable space of 15,650.10 square meters. The mall was part of the Silverbird Group’s assets seized in 2016 over a debt dispute involving approximately N11 billion.

– *Warehouse and Office Block, Port Harcourt*: Located at No. 2, Aba Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The property sits on a land size of 2,529.63 square meters.

– *Six Three-Bedroom Flats, Port Harcourt*: Situated at 216 Okporo Road, Rumuodara, Obi Akpor LGA, Rivers State. The property sits on a land size of 613.18890 square meters.

– *Twin Warehouse Bays and Gatehouse, Port Harcourt*: Located at Km 2 Port Harcourt/Aba Expressway, Port Harcourt. The property sits on a land size of 7,607.99 square meters.

– *Seven-Bedroom Detached House, Port Harcourt*: Situated at Plot 8, C and C Estate, off R.D Road, off Okporo Road, Port Harcourt. The property sits on a land size of 811.12 square meters.
