The President of the Binani Group, Aminatu Dahiru Chiroma, has announced that the newly launched Binani Air is set to raise the bar in Nigeria’s aviation sector following its inaugural commercial operations.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Chiroma said the airline was created with a clear mission to deliver improved service delivery, operational consistency, and enhanced passenger experience, positioning itself as a strong competitor in the industry.

She described the launch as a historic achievement, noting that Binani Air stands out as the first airline owned by a Northern Nigerian woman, a development she called a major milestone for women in business and aviation leadership in the country.

“Insha’Allah, this is the day we have all been waiting for and I am glad it is finally here,” she said.

Chiroma added that despite the competitive nature of the aviation industry, the airline is prepared to meet expectations and deliver what she described as world-class service to Nigerian passengers.

“We are ready and set to show Nigerians what it means to have the best,” she said.

She further revealed that early passenger feedback from the inaugural operations has been encouraging, particularly regarding the airline’s hospitality and onboard service quality.

According to her, these early experiences reflect the standard the airline intends to consistently maintain as it expands operations.

The airline commenced its maiden flights with routes from Abuja to Kano and Yola, attracting attention from aviation stakeholders and passengers who described the development as a significant boost to Nigeria’s aviation landscape.
