Hayden Panettiere, Star of ‘Heroes’ and ‘Nashville,’ Dies at 36

Hayden Panettiere, the actress known for her iconic roles in the television series “Heroes” and “Nashville,” has died at the age of 36.

Panettiere rose to fame playing Claire Bennet, the indestructible cheerleader, on the hit NBC sci-fi series “Heroes.” The role earned her a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2007.

She later starred as Juliette Barnes in the musical drama “Nashville,” a performance that garnered her Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress in 2013 and 2014.

The actress had been open about her personal struggles in recent years. She spoke publicly about experiencing postpartum depression following the birth of her daughter in 2014 and voluntarily checked into a treatment facility in 2015.

In 2023, her younger brother, Jansen Panettiere, passed away at the age of 28.

In a subsequent interview, the actress discussed her grief and revealed she had been dealing with agoraphobia after his death.

More recently, Panettiere had been promoting her work and discussing her health journey, including acknowledging concerns from fans about her well-being.
