JUST-IN: OVER 170 FEARED KILLED IN FRESH TERRORIST ATTACK IN KWARA STATE

No fewer than 170 people have reportedly been killed following a fresh terrorist attack on Woro and Nuku communities in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State.

International media reports on Wednesday indicated that the assailants stormed the two villages late Tuesday night, attacking residents while they were asleep.Initial reports had put the death toll at about 40.

However, updated figures now confirm that at least 172 persons have been killed.

The number of residents abducted during the attack remains unclear as of the time of filing this report.

As at press time, there has been no official statement from security agencies or the Kwara State Government regarding the incident.
