KARMA AT WORK: THE TINUBU-LED APC AND THE NEW ADC COALITION – A CASE OF DEJA VU?

By Emmanuel Iriogbe

At the last presidential election, I was Nasarawa State coordinator of a Peter Obi support group and I hurt so badly when INEC and the judiciary manipulated the election results and gave victory to President Bola Tinubu.

Since coming to power, though Tinubu has fared real badly in his handling of the economy, not with hunger biting the citizenry real bad, I must admit that I applaud his political suave policy of gradually taking power from the northern oligarchy that has held the south down.

My take on the new coalition that wants to wrestle power from Tinubu is what I will say; “karma is at work”
Recall that APC was formed by disgruntled people that had the sole aim of throwing then President Jonathan out through the window.
They had no blue Print on how they intended to rescue the country from the so-called anomalies they saw in the system.
They were all united in their hatred for one man, GEJ.

As it was with APC, so it is presently with the new bride, ADC.
I see them as a gathering of northerners that are united in their hatred for Tinubu and wants him out at all cost come 2027.

Peter Obi is a pawn they want to use in garnering the South East and South South votes. If he falls for the bait, it will spell his political doom.
I believe he can do it alone by remaining in the labour party.

Atiku is a spent force that has outlived his political relevance in the country. Mind you, I was in the forefront traversing the length and breadth of this country campaigning for Atiku in 2015.

Where I stand presently, only time will tell.
