NUJ FCT CORRESPONDENTS’ CHAPEL SEMINAR: JOURNALISTS TO DELVE INTO OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AWARENESS AND SOCIAL WELFARE

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Correspondents’ Chapel is set to host a seminar on occupational health awareness and social welfare on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. The event will take place at the NUJ FCT Council Secretariat, located at 4 Ekukinam Street, Utako, Abuja, starting at 10:30 AM.

Themed “Occupational Health Awareness and Social Welfare,” the seminar aims to enlighten journalists on critical health issues and welfare challenges associated with their occupation. Keynote topics include:

– Sudden Death Syndrome: Causes and Prevention

– Preparing for Retirement: Managing Aging

– Occupational Hazards: Safety Measures

– Social Welfare: Benefits for Journalists

Experts and special guests will share valuable insights on health awareness, challenges, and social welfare deficiencies, helping journalists understand and navigate these challenges. Comrade Felix Ojo will host the event, while Grace Ike, Chairman of the FCT NUJ Council, will serve as the chief host.
