Tinubu Arrives Lagos After Jos Visit, Set for Project Commissioning Tour

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos following a stopover in Jos, Plateau State, where he commiserated with the government and communities affected by recent gun attacks that claimed several lives.

 

 

During his visit to Plateau, the president expressed sympathy with victims and assessed the security situation in the area.

In Lagos, Tinubu is expected to observe the Easter holiday while also commissioning a number of infrastructure projects completed under the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. These include the Ojota–Opebi Link Bridge, a multi-agency complex, and a school facility.

According to the presidency, the president will, on Saturday, travel to Ogun State to inaugurate the Gateway International Cargo Airport, alongside two commercial aircraft aimed at boosting Nigeria’s import and export capacity.

Before returning to Abuja, Tinubu is also scheduled to visit Bayelsa State to commission projects executed by Governor Duoye Diri.
