London Police Declare Stabbing of Two Jewish Men a Terrorist Attack
Police in London have declared the stabbing of two Jewish men in the city’s Golders Green area a terrorist incident, following what authorities described as a targeted attack.
According to multiple international reports, the victims; aged in their 30s and 70s, were attacked by a knife-wielding suspect in a neighbourhood known for its large Jewish population. Both men were rushed to hospital and are said to be in stable condition.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder after being subdued with a Taser. Authorities said the suspect had a history of violence and is also believed to have attempted to attack others, including police officers.
Counter-terrorism officers have taken over the investigation, with officials stating that the incident has been formally classified as terrorism and that one key line of inquiry is whether the attack deliberately targeted the Jewish community.
The attack comes amid a wider surge in antisemitic incidents across the United Kingdom, including arson attempts on Jewish institutions and other hate-related violence in recent weeks.

Political leaders and community figures have strongly condemned the incident, calling for increased protection for Jewish communities and urgent action to address rising hate crimes. British authorities have also increased police presence in affected areas to reassure residents.
Investigations remain ongoing as officials work to determine the full motive behind the attack and any possible links to organised or foreign-backed groups.
