Oborevwori Replaces Two Commissioners in Cabinet Reshuffle
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving the redeployment of commissioners across key ministries in Delta State.
The changes were announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, who said the redeployments take immediate effect.
Under the new arrangement, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka was moved from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu was redeployed from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
The reshuffle also affected the education sector, with Mrs. Rose Ezewu transferred from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education. Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu was moved from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The Delta State Government said the adjustments were part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across ministries.
In a related development, Governor Oborevwori also approved the nomination of Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Charles Ajuyah (SAN) as members of the Governing Council of Delta State University.
