Youths Beat Delta Governor’s Protocol Officer Over Tinubu Comment at APC Meeting (+Video)
Mr. Temo Mudi, a protocol officer serving under the Delta State Governor, was reportedly attacked and seriously injured by some youths in Warri.
The incident occurred yesterday during the Delta State APC Leadership Meeting held at the PTI Conference Centre.
An eyewitness account suggests the attack may have been triggered by a comment Mr. Mudi made regarding the current administration.
During the meeting, he was heard stating that the President Tinubu administration is the best thing to have happened to Nigerians, a remark that appeared to provoke those present.
The violence escalated shortly after his statement, with the youths descending on him and causing significant bodily harm. Sources at the conference centre described the scene as chaotic, with the attack disrupting the proceedings.
Security personnel and other officials present at the event attempted to intervene, but the assailants had already inflicted injuries on the protocol officer before order could be restored. He was subsequently rushed to receive medical attention for the wounds sustained during the assault.
