President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has performed the Umrah pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, saying he feels fulfilled after completing the Islamic religious rites.

The President disclosed this after completing the lesser Hajj, explaining that he used the spiritual exercise to pray for Nigeria’s peace, stability and harmony.

Tinubu said he asked Almighty Allah to grant Nigeria lasting peace and foster unity among its citizens.

He also reflected on his return to Saudi Arabia after his victory in the 2023 presidential election, describing the latest visit as a significant moment.

The President arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday and is expected to return to Nigeria next week.

His visit comes as the country continues to grapple with security, economic and social challenges, with his prayers focusing on peace and national harmony.
