Ecobank Opens Dangote Refinery Share Offer To Investors Across Africa
Ecobank has opened access to the ongoing Dangote Petroleum Refinery share offer to retail and institutional investors across Africa, leveraging its pan-African banking network and digital platforms to widen participation in the capital market.
The share offer, which opened on September 14, 2026, is scheduled to close on October 13, with Ecobank providing investors in its markets across the continent with access through its digital banking channels and branches.
The bank said its network across 33 African countries, alongside international offices in London, Paris, Beijing and Dubai, would enable investors to participate in the offer and gain access to shares in one of Africa’s major industrial projects.
In Nigeria, both Ecobank customers and non-customers can subscribe through the Ecobank Mobile App, Internet Banking, the bank’s website and any Ecobank branch nationwide.
The shares are being offered at ₦525 each, with a minimum subscription of 10 shares.
Speaking on the offer, Ecobank Nigeria’s Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Austen Osokpor, said the bank was committed to connecting Nigerians and other African investors with opportunities that could support wealth creation and broaden participation in the capital market.
Osokpor said the bank’s digital platforms and extensive branch network had been positioned to make the subscription process more accessible and convenient for prospective investors.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery share offer gives investors an opportunity to acquire an ownership stake in the refinery, a major industrial project with implications for Nigeria’s petroleum refining and energy landscape.
Ecobank advised prospective investors to carefully study the offer Prospectus and seek professional advice where necessary before making investment decisions.
Interested investors can subscribe through Ecobank’s digital banking channels or visit any of its branches nationwide before the October 13 closing date.
