Former Governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has predicted that President Bola Tinubu will lose the 2027 general elections, saying the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will take over the leadership of Nigeria and most states.

Aregbesola made the prediction at the commissioning of the ADC state secretariat in Ilorin, Kwara state, saying the party is poised to rescue the country from its current challenges.

He described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as unpopular, saying its actions show it is afraid of losing power. “If APC is confident of its strength, it won’t be hounding and hunting opposition all over the place,” he said.

Aregbesola also criticized governors who have defected to the APC, calling them enemies of the people.

The immediate past governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, who recently joined the ADC, said the party is ready to provide credible leadership and rescue the country from its current challenges.
