Former FRSC Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu Dies

The immediate past Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dauda Ali Biu, has died.

 

Biu’s death was announced on Sunday, October 11, 2026, by Hon. Sadiq Ango Abdullahi, a member of the House of Representatives representing Sabon Gari Federal Constituency, Kaduna State.

Abdullahi, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), announced the death in a condolence message in which he described the late former FRSC chief’s passing as a significant loss to the country.

 

Expressing grief over the development, the lawmaker said Biu’s death was a painful loss to his family, loved ones and the nation.

 

He described the deceased as a committed nationalist whose service and contributions to Nigeria would remain part of his enduring legacy.

According to him, Biu’s passing has left a void that would be deeply felt by those who knew him and appreciated his service to the country.

 

Abdullahi extended his condolences to the deceased’s immediate family, associates and the nation over the loss.

 

He also prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

 

The lawmaker further prayed for Allah to grant the bereaved family, friends and associates the patience and strength to bear the loss.

The late Biu served as Corps Marshal of the FRSC before the end of his tenure.
