The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has officially commenced its 2026 nationwide recruitment exercise, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for positions across various cadres in the Corps.

The recruitment portal opened on Friday, July 3, 2026, and applications will remain open until August 24, 2026.

According to the FRSC, the exercise offers employment opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) to National Diploma (ND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Higher National Diploma (HND), and university degrees.

Graduates seeking appointment into the Officer Cadre are required to possess a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower and present evidence of completion or exemption from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme.

HND holders are eligible to apply for the Assistant Corps Commander cadre, while ND and NCE holders may apply for the Assistant Corps Inspector cadre. Candidates with SSCE qualifications can apply for positions as Road Marshal Assistants, which constitute a significant part of the Corps’ operational workforce.

The Corps stated that applicants must be Nigerian citizens aged between 18 and 35 years, possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN), and meet the prescribed medical and physical fitness requirements.

Male applicants must have a minimum height of 1.69 metres, while female applicants must be at least 1.65 metres tall. Candidates must also have no criminal record and be willing to serve in any part of the country if successful.

The FRSC warned that multiple applications would result in automatic disqualification and advised applicants to complete only one application through the official recruitment portal.

The FRSC stressed that the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge and cautioned applicants against paying money to individuals or groups claiming to facilitate recruitment.

The Corps advised interested Nigerians to complete their applications before the August 24 deadline and rely only on the official FRSC recruitment portal for registration and recruitment information.
