India Hails Nigeria At 66, Pledges Stronger Partnership
India has congratulated Nigeria on its 66th Independence Anniversary, reaffirming the strong and longstanding relationship between the two countries.
In a goodwill message to mark the occasion, India’s Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Vartika Rawat, described the relationship between India and Nigeria as a multifaceted partnership rooted in mutual respect, shared values and enduring people to people ties.
Rawat said India was privileged to witness Nigeria’s journey of nation building and to contribute to efforts aimed at deepening the bonds between both countries.
She conveyed warm greetings to Nigerians, their families and the people of Nigeria on behalf of the Indian High Commission team, wishing the country continued peace, progress, prosperity and development.
According to her, the enduring friendship between India and Nigeria would continue to grow stronger, reflecting the longstanding ties and shared interests between the two nations.
“Happy Independence Day, Nigeria,” Rawat said.
