Tinubu Swears in Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance

President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in Taiwo Oyedele as the Minister of State for Finance at the State House in Abuja.

Oyedele, a seasoned economist and public policy expert, succeeds Doris Uzoka-Anite, who has been redeployed to the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.

He brings over two decades of experience in fiscal policy and tax administration, having previously served as Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms.

In addition to his government service, Oyedele is a professor at Babcock University and a visiting scholar at Lagos Business School.

His appointment underscores the administration’s focus on strengthening fiscal policy and tax governance.
