9 Million Jehovah’s Witnesses Launch Global Campaign to Promote Happier, Meaningful Lives

More than nine million Jehovah’s Witnesses across the world have commenced a month-long global campaign aimed at helping people find greater happiness, hope and meaning through practical Bible teachings.

The campaign, which began in September, will see members of the religious organisation offer free interactive Bible study programmes and distribute copies of Enjoy Life Forever, a three-lesson publication designed to introduce readers to practical Bible principles for everyday life.

The initiative was announced in a statement signed by the spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria, Olusegun Eroyemi, and made available to journalists in Lagos on Tuesday.

According to Eroyemi, the publication uses illustrations, discussion questions and links to short videos to make Bible-based lessons easier to understand and apply.

He said the materials would explore how Bible principles could help people improve their relationships, cope with everyday challenges, develop hope and lead more purposeful lives.

The campaign, he added, would provide accessible Bible-based guidance to people seeking practical answers to challenges affecting families, workplaces and communities.

“The Bible’s timeless teachings have helped people throughout the centuries.

“We have personally seen the difference its principles can make in our lives, and we are pleased to share that practical guidance with our neighbours,” Eroyemi said.

As part of the campaign, Jehovah’s Witnesses will also organise a special public discourse titled “How Can the Bible Help You?”

Eroyemi said the discourse would be presented in congregations worldwide and would examine how Bible principles can contribute to happier and more meaningful lives.

He stressed that the programme would be free and open to everyone, with no registration or membership requirement.

Interested members of the public can access information about the Bible study programme and meeting locations through the official Jehovah’s Witnesses website.
