PRESIDENT TINUBU CUTS SHORT VACATION, RETURNS TO ABUJA TODAY
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, to resume official duties. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy), confirmed this in a statement on Monday.

The President had departed for France on September 4, 2025, initially planning to spend time in France and the United Kingdom. While in Paris last week, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders reviewed cooperation between Nigeria and France, agreeing to deepen their partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.
President Tinubu’s early return indicates a shift in his scheduled plans, suggesting a possible response to pressing national matters or upcoming events requiring his attention in Abuja. Details of his resumed official duties upon return were not specified in the statement issued by Bayo Onanuga.
